The webbing, to me, served as a light background, almost nothing more than a border, per se. Having changed the camera angle I felt that another background, so long as it was light, would suffice just as well, as it is the figure that is the selling point.

An aside about this cover. I picked this comic up at the time it came out based purely on Cho's work and knowing nothing of the story inside, given I've really stopped reading comics, I did feel a little cheated that after the wonderful cove that Spider Woman appeared in maybe a handfull of panels inside and they were only token shots with little dialogue. I assumed from the cover that she featured in it.

Hey guys, long time no see! There is some incredible work going on here, so good to see! I have a bit of a proposition for any artists interested:

I have written an eleven page script for Ronin Illustrated and it has been approved to be published in a future issue, so if there is an artist that would like to be included in this feature then please contact me.

The script is a short story about a Fighter Pilot during 1940. The art needs to be Black and white.

As I say, it has been confirmed that it will be used in an issue of Ronin Illustrated, so it's a good oppotunity for us both!

Anyway, if anyone's up for that, please contact me - legion05@hotmail.co.uk

Something I just finished up...the sketch had been in my book for a while.

Anyone else find it...ironic that the FIRST post on page 666 was offering a "break in" to comics...DANG, that Mephisto gets around :)

Second that! The pencils on that CAP/BATMAN piece are fantastic, getting a bit of a John Buscema vibe from it.
