Thanks for the kudos, John.
I loved working on those Hands & Feet studies.
It was the first time I'd really done a series of paintings just for me.

Bill, I know there's a hot topic, 'creative frustration' thread around here, but I
still like to tell artists whose work they remind me of. So please don't take
offense!
From that Moon Knight piece I am reminded of Mazzucchellis a bit and the
guy who did the artwork in the late 190-200 issues of Daredevil - I love
both their styles.
Here's a sample (cool site too):http://www.art4comics.com/daredevil.htm

Not at all. It's actually helpful to know how others see my work. I  don't think I was reading DD during those issues, but I'm flattered by the comparison. Especially with Mazzuchelli  - one of my favorite artists from the 80s. Possibly my VERY favorite.

Good. I'm glad you feel that way. The way others view one's artwork is
never how the artist sees it...or so I'm told.
Someone comapred my stuff to Herb Trimpe once. I never would thought
to have that comparison.

And I'm a huge Mazzucchelli fan too. Loved his Rubber Blanket stuff, but
looking back on it nowadays, his Batman and Daredevil work is so much
better.

JPB, you can do beauty as good as you do brute.
I think that's the first female character I've seen of yours. Absolutely love
the colors and Raven looks bee-yoo-ti-ful!
