Ah Thundra, blessed mighty amazon!
Fond memories of her going to toe-to-toe with Ms. Marvel in Avengers Annual 8 and her role as a future (or alternate universe?) Avenger in Avengers Forever!
Good stuff Darren.

The local arts center are doing some auction, so they asked a few
teachers to decorate skateboards. As the 'young and hip' member of the
faculty (at nearly 37 and I don't even want to know how low my hipness
quotient is), they wanted me to do one. So I went all 'manga' on it, which
is unlike me, but it seemed appropriate. Originally, I was planning on
having it be much more explicit, but I dialed it down - the manga style is
useful for that, because it's sexy without being overtly sexual.
Since I've never tried to draw manga-style before, I had to study a few
drawings to get a feel for the linework:
Any guesses as to which character served as the template for the face?
Geek-pride points to whoever gets it.
