I'm never real happy with the way my acrylic paintings scan in.
They normally look blotchy and the skin tones tend to be off.
This is no exception, but I think it'll give you a good idea of what the original looks like as it stands right now. I did try to give it a sketchier, more pastel type of look. It was a fun distraction today. I painted a good deal of it while talking to a couple of mormon elders (read: teenagers) who came to visit.

Another pen & ink --- very quickly inked

with markers. This is another picture I'd like to revisit. Maybe take some extra time with and do in pastels.

Here is a quick color sketch done in water soluble oil pastels. Never used these before but they are very fun. Also decided not to sketch it out first in pencil. This is kind of scary because I have to kind of get it right the first time and erasing isn't really an option, but at the same time it's very liberating.

Bill, awesome stuff, and John B, you really need to do some stuff professionally for me to actually buy soon, or I go nuts.
The Star Trek stuff you do is sheer eye candy. :-)

This isn't a sketch,but I was searching through some
of my old files and found a JB drawing from an XMen
portfolio I have that I computer colored. Figured I
would share if anyone cares...
