Freehand all the way George. I never got into the tracing thing much.
I must have been in the zone that day or something, although, if you look
closely at the right hand, I think you can see how many times I erased and
started again trying to get it right.

Thanks George. Thanks very much.
Coming from someone that can do something that looks as gorgeous as that
Superman/Spider-Man recreation looks, I'm very appreciative. And you did it
48x32???? That's huge!!

Amazing piece of work George. All the pain paid off.
Is this a commission or for yourself?

Here's a snapshot of my  latest piece, a 2'x4' acrylic. Once again for one of Digital Masterpieces' Aurora fantasy boxes.

I am eventually going to put the Superman Vs Spiderman piece on ebay with a very high starting price point... if it sells, it sells... otherwise it looks great on my wall... I'm even considering picking another spread from the same issue and do it all over again... hmmm....

Pain:
I wanted to do something like this for a long long time, but I never developed the calm to do it before... everything I do in art has to be now, now, now... every line and stroke I put down are passionette... the longer it takes the colder I feel about the work...

So I decided to tackle it differently... One day, I will just work on the forest on the top left... the next day I will work on Superman's right arm... the next day, some of the buildings... and so forth...

another close up:
