Resurfacing to put another little sample of sketches up.  A Hulk...

And one.  Very.  Rude.  Wolverine...

Blame that last one on that X-Men annual that Chris (Claremont) and Alan (Davis) did which opened with a rather honked Canadian stumbling in on the X-Men, doing a lot like my dad at my sister's wedding.

Nice Thor pics, John.  I'd love to have seen the Walter Simonson run continue for another year or so, but alas!  That guy really brought the book to the surface for me.  I'm thinking that you're looking back at the original Jack Kirby issues, though (I think he went as far on this as he did on Fantastic Four).

Two more bits from me, done within the past year or so.  Sort of a warning of what not to do, such as going to the local UPS store where the manager's kid wants to run the copier for you (and proceeds to show you what a dunce he is)...

The above was a pencil of a webcomic using my original characters in which they confront a particularly dangerous bad guy.

Below, my character Jenny gives us a lecture on what to avoid when carrying our art materials to and from work...

Needless to say, what happened here was that a few remaining pages of a single-ply Bristol paper pad that I was transporting in my laptop case weren't adequately protected on the day that a heavy rain cell was parked over the place
that I was working at on that particular week.  Now I make sure that there are sealed plastic bags around any of my materials and work while making the commute.
