Thanks, Paulo.  I draw everything by hand, scan it, open it in Photoshop, and go from there.

Paulo, the guy I did all of those cover repros for wanted them to look
almost the same as the originals, so I did lightbox them roughly with
pencil and went in over the pencils later with mostly brush inks. I didn't
do that same thing with the Batman I posted over in the Fan Fic section, I
just looked at Mr. Garcia-Lopez's original for that one.

I liked the way they came out, but I generally dislike having to do that--
just doesn't feel as good to copy.

G.

Wallace, great work! Really fun!

Gary, very nice re-creations! I find that you can learn a lot by doing them

Dave, great action! I have that comic, those were the days!

Can't draw yet, I hope soon.

Haven't done much for a while. Here's something I'm working on - I need to think about a background, though.

If you won't mind, allow me to drop in a pair of partially-done sketches from my current sketchbook.  These involve someone's poor nephew from a certain company that JB tends not to mention by name...

The first versus his long-time nemesis.

The second one featuring certain rampaging monster whose name will remain anonymous.

As you see, the work in this sketchbook is largely done off the fly during breaks in my workday whenever I can fit them in (the current assignment I'm on is even more of a hassle as I only get a 30-minute lunch to put pencil to paper).  Most don't even get beyond a simple blue-line pencil breakdown that I start with.
