Jeremy, terrific Mar-Vell
JPB- that's a great solid Cap. It's really great to see you draw some of the classic characters- and I love your style, good stuff!.
New BattleWorlds post- from the BattleWorlds FutureWar graphic novel- As the Scorps invade the base, EarthForce mechanic extraordinaire nicknamed “Mek” is limping with an injured knee, out off ammo, and trying to escape. This page starts as a Blitzer busts in to the hangar. Mek uses the hydraulic arms and takes one Blitzer out. Another Blitz is sneaking up behind him. Mek has no time to react, but Mega saves him. Jack will take Mek to safety, but he is still worried about Sol’s disappearance, and orders his alien cape to separate from him (de-powering, reducing Jack's strength to human) and search for Sol.

Aric- Thank you for your compliment. I agree that white is also another way to go- I couldn't agree with you more. I can't imagine all books with black backgrounds, but it does work on some pieces. As a matter of fact, Mega #1 has white backgrounds, mainly because I refer to golden age comic book pages. It's an artistic preference. For this book, since my pages vary between storyboard rectangles and various sized fully-rendered panels, the black background acts as a framing device of sorts, a decision that works best for me, how I wish to present BattleWorlds.

JPB, I'm impressed that your nibs never break. How often do you use nibs, btw?

Great work folks and a belated thanks to Dave for the colour on Wolverine. Nice to get an insight into your working methods JPB. I've decided to torture myself and spend the next week trying to figure out my bogey character, the Thing, here is the first attempt, head is too small but the legs show promise.

Nice job, again, Dave! Interesting look on the hammer.
Luke, I actually liked your previous Thing better, though this one is OK too. I think the left foot needs to be a bit flatter and the left fist needs to show more knuckle and less palm (if that makes sense). Just a humble observation.

You're welcome on the color Luke, by the way... that was just a conversion to black and white, then color.. no inking cleanup. That's how complete your character pencils are.
