Paulo - I love my Wacom tablet but I use it only for painting. My drawings straight to the Wacom leave something to be desired. I have been trying to ink more with the Wacom but my lines seem to be so shaky compared to me using markers or even a brush.
Great Lion by the way.

Michael, yeah, I'm not too good with it yet either and I have yet to attempt painting with it, though I think I'm starting to get the feel of it. At any rate, I prefer actual rather than digital pencil and ink.

Painting is fun with a Wacom since you can always undo. Here is something I did recently. I was trying to get a weird lighting effect, though I cannot imagine what lights would make it look lke that.

I'm quite impressed by some of the work being posted here. That makes me want to stick around more often and get in as many posts of my own as I can. But, first, some responses are in order...
George:
Thank you for the response (page 540). Your Battleworlds storyboards are quite engrossing in and of themselves, it's a nice concept and the character designs and story have a little bit of Paul Dini and a little bit of a Golden Age epic feel to them.
Luke:
I'm not sure if I've noticed your stuff in earlier posts, but I'm impressed. It seems that John Romita Jr is quite an influence on you, being what I consider a quintessential Spider-Man artist himself. I'll always prefer the classic Spidey.
Michael:
I'm curious about those Wacom tablets, if mostly because I might find them more "natural" for a computer image-editing than clicking a mouse button. Any idea where to get one? Btw - that lighting effect could come from your character entering a cave from broad daylight.
George:
I'm getting a classic Starlin vibe here. The good captain was actually one of the few Marvel characters from the 1970s that I never really got around to following. (I'm remembering that team-up in the annual where Thanos was first "killed" -- back in the days where character deaths really did matter.)
In closing, I'd be kind of curious to see how my art would look under other people's inks (and vice versa, etc) , but I guess that would be a topic for another thread here, so I'll just sit back and enjoy for now...
