The third and final one for the week.

An alien warrior-maiden done later in the season.  I have this fascination with Iron Age warefare that I grafted onto an extraterrestrial race from a number of my own story ideas, and this is what I came up with.

New BattleWorlds post- from the BattleWorlds FutureWar graphic novel:

In this scene, Mega's alien power suit (named Cape) is really happy to see Sol. Mega, being dormant since 1945, and Sol (an immortal) reunite in this scene - the year is 2245, yet the happy mood becomes somber as Shaman tells Mega that his daughter Sol must return to Amazonia, leaving Jack forever.

In another scene, here in the old Deadalus vault, within the COOP underground facility, Mega discovers a video disc transfered from old film. The footage is from Operation Daedalus chief General Robert Powers, documenting his search for his own son- Mega, who was last seen in 1945, and general Powers kept on searching till his own mysterious disappearance. Here he speaks to Jack, and hints a clue that will be critical for BattleWorlds Part III: WorldWar. Notice Cape looking on in the background.

Here are some things I did with markers in a completely different style.  I colored the Pokemon dude with the computer.  A request by my kids.

Great work, everyone (and I love that elephant, Michael).

Here's a lioness (done with a Wacom Graphire):

Very nice, Michael, really like the girl, lovely expression on her face.

Cool pages, George, looking forward to this.

JPB, great colouring and inking on Wonderman and another terrific sketch.

Aric, thanks for the compliment, I really enjoy drawing hands, always room for improvement though.

Narrow the eyes, define the webbing more and he almost seems like a totally different character.

Luke - It is easy to like drawing hands when you are so good at it.

I seem to struggle with hands, which means I really should practice more.

Luke- you're good at signature poses.

JPB- terrific stuff!

New BattleWorlds post-
from the BattleWorlds FutureWar graphic novel:

After almost being electrocuted during Mega’s power-up transformation, the Imperial Leader contemplates the scenario: he underestimated Mega, but the Leader still has more brute strength-- and he's an accomplished mastermind with more battle experience than Mega. He's waited a long time for crushing Earth's Greatest Hero. The battle is on!

The good news for Mega: He has his power suit on. The bad news- The Imperial Leader just had his full dosage of painkillers: taking him down won’t be easy!
