That looks good gregg. And here is one o my roughs i am working on i dont bother to do to much detail in the pencil because i know what i want to add to it in the ink and colour stage. unless some one asked for a detailed pencil i would do one but other than that i dont bother.

How's your 'dry-brush' technique John? That or a nice 'fiberous' felt pen could maybe retain some of the sketchyness you're seeking...IMO.

I'm kind of the opposite...I go for quite definite, sculpted lines...mostly.

And another one, roughly from the same period. This time painted (very badly, I might add :D ) in acrilic. It was probably my first or second try using acrilics, I then moved to computer coloring! But I knda like the pose... I don't know...
