About the above Mockingbird drawing- I haven't had a tilted art desk in many years, so I draw on a flat dining room table.  Because of the perspective, I don't realize how long some things come out until I look at the illustration straight on!  That said, I think her neck is much longer than it should be, and I'm not happy with her right arm behind her back.  Oh well...

Too-long necks is something that I have noticed in many of your drawings,
Greg. Keep working on it and keep posting the results so we can see how
you're coming!

(And you're right - something about the arm behind her back makes it look
like it belongs to someone else; like there's a little person standing back-to
right behind her holding on to her staff as well!)

dont worry over your work Greg just draw what you feel thats all i do i dont let myself get tied down with detail.I do all my work with a drawing  pad on my lap. Anyway you can at least see what your doing wrong just a few lines here and there will soon correct that keep at it Greg,
