How 'bout those Sharpie inks!  What, I didn't know what a ruler was back then?  I was going for a Steranko type of thing on the Doc Savage but it didn't really work.  I guess it was a little vain of me to think I could just "do Steranko".  The Invaders piece I was really happy with when I did it and it still has a little charm to it.  I think the Namor turned out pretty well.

Latest in my series of Vs. sketches.  This one was a pain in the butt.  Batman Vs. Spider-Man took a single sketch.  This one took about 5 and I'm still not entirely happy with it.

Dave- late thanks for the Snowbird colors!  Awesome job!

JPB- that Thor piece is exquisite!

Edit: here's another inked Alpha from earlier this year.  Please color at your convenience :-P

Matt your Ironman vs Green Lantern brought an initial chuckle to a not so great day. Don't get me wrong it had nothing to do with the art itself but with the positioning of the characters. At first glance of the pencils it appears that Ironman is bitch-slapping GL, rather than firing a repulsor ray at him.
