I created those in the late 1990s... they are sketched on paper and colorized on the computer (first one, that is).
The third one is Rick from Casablanca (Humphrey Bogart)...
Basically I look at a photo and come up with a caricature/ portrait.

Wow, great stuff everyone.

John, your likenesses are great. As are the caricatures. Being the "drawing guy", people ask for cartoons from me for going aways and such, but I can't do likenesses to save my life. People are generally pleased with what I give them, most people are that can't or don't draw much, but I'm never satisfied with them.

Caleb and Anthony, I am really liking your styles as well. Here are a couple recent ones of mine. I figure since I don't do "realistic" well, I'll go full blown cartoony.

Not exactly my sketchbook, in fact I used Poser 3D to use human models as reference...!

For some reason, I couldn't add text to this (Fantastic Four sketch) post, so I'll add it now.

This is a sketch I did for a friend of mine. As any artist can attest to, I (as the artist) can already spot the flaws in it, but I'm curious what you think.

Caleb, the word WOW comes to mind. Great pic, I really like the Thing's pose and expression.
