I had the Six Million Dollar Man also.

Get this--they came in two sizes, I begged my mom for the 12" one but it was too expensive.  One night my mom and her friends went to play BINGO and I was dragged along.  I was 6 or 7 at the time.  They bought me a card for each round and I won the grand prize!  First stop was TG&Y--I got the 12" Steve Austin, mom got the remainder of the prize money.  At the time I felt I got the better end of the deal.  I don't even remember how much cash it was, I got the Six Million Dollar Man.

Wallace,

I had a Stretch Monster when I was a kid. My brother had good ol' Stretch Armstrong. As awesome as they were, they tended to crack and "bleed" after a time. I remember slapping band-aids on SM thinking that would solve the problem lol.

I fondly remember Miconauts.  My best friend of 35 years still have ours and they are all together. Because as you know yoou can combine them and make some cool stuff. I also loved The Fighting Furies from Matchbox.  I bought him awhile back and I am on the hunt for the others in the set:

Also, Mobile Action Command (M.A.C.) from Matchbox was a big favorite.

IIRC, Stretch Armstrong came with Band-Aids

This is a group I played with A LOT as a kid.  I would love to find a complete set.     BIG JIM and the WOLF P.A.C.K.

I used to want those action figures when I was a kid! I saw the ad a lot, but
believe this is the first time I've seen the actual toys!

I vividly recall that "blood"; it was clear purple and sticky, and when tasted, slightly sweet.  Yes, I tasted it.

I actually poked a hole in it with a pin. I hope my brother never reads this as it was his.

Does anyone else remember Stretch Monster?

***

Forgot about him, but I loved that guy!  I lived in a townhouse complex and one of the neighbor kids threw my Stretch Monster onto one of the roofs.  It stayed there for months, until a maintenance man was cleaning the gutters.  It had baked in the sun for so long, it wasn't stretchy at all anymore.

My biggest assortment of toys were from Star Wars, Masters of the Universe and GI Joe, but it was the lesser known and sometimes random toys that I tended to love the most.

These guys were favorites:

Here is one of the ads Wallace.  Does that look like Sal did the art?  Actually, now that I think about it, I think this is a mini-comic that came with the action figures.
