Ultron is my favorite Avengers villain. While there have been some really good Ultron stories over the years, but Busiek and Perez's Ultron Unlimited is by far my favorite. It might actually be my favorite Avengers story of all time.

Not sure why Iceman has a jacket in Alex Ross' X-Men designs. Visually it would get in the way when he ices up, and it's not like he needs a jacket to keep warm.

Not sure why they gave him cargo shorts in upcoming X-men either. (Of course, when he looked like a snowman he had rubber boots.)

I was reading the article from Comic Book Resources showing the “All new X-men” and can’t help but notice how odd the whole concept is. If you wanted proof that even Marvel is starting to think they've mishandled the characters. The idea that younger versions of the X-men need to see how far they've strayed from the ideals of being a hero, or a Marvel comic book hero only shows that somewhere along the lines they've screwed up somewhere.

Well they could just stop mishandling the "current" versions.Of course in their minds that would require a year long crossover to explain their change of heart.

If there's one thing I can't stand about most of the X-Men costume re-designs over the years, it's this incessant need to incorporate the letter "X" into the entire costume. It's called a belt buckle, folks. That's all you need to get the point across. Really.

I've on occasion added the X-buckle to the "All New All Different" costumes. The experiment falls apart with Nightcrawler.

All that you need to do is give Nightcrawler an 'X' badge that looks like the other's belt buckles, he could wear it like a Star Trek Starfleet insignia.

I've seen the X in various places on Kurt's costume, never looks right.
Another experiment I've done is using the school uniform with the colors of the individual costumes.

Ross' designs are a tad boring, but if you take the cloaks off at least that have some unity to them. IMO, as bad as they are they're light years better than the designs we're seeing for Marvel's relaunch.

Super-Heroes don't need fashion upgrades, whatever happened to the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" school of thought?
