This is great!  I really like how Batman is getting attacked from all angles but there is the sense that he will more than hold his own when all is said and done.

Love it!

It's funny; for no apparent reason, I was thinking about the Frightful Four earlier today. The only possible explanation is a meaningless coincidence!

I totally agree with the earlier post about how Batman clearly has the next 2-3 moves planned. Great commission!

Awesome. As with many of the commissions, it makes me want to read the story that should surround the scene.

Hi All,

Larry Varvel is the happy owner of this commission and he is away from home for a few days and only has internet access via his phone.  He tried to make a couple of posts earlier in the thread and they only resulted in blank screens.  He sent me an e-mail and asked that I post it here.  He wrote:

"Please tell JB and the forum how thrilled I am with my latest commission.  I am in the middle of the almost wilderness till Friday.  Can only see commission on tiny screen.  But it looks awesome!"

Wow!!! It's been said often, but it bares repeating, this reminds me of what I'm missing in comics today! I would buy that book in a second! Great art JB!

Congrats, Larry!  Don't get lost out there, because the line starts behind me to claim this beauty of a commission if you go missing  :^)

WOW! Just love it! JB has always been able to draw an amazing Sandman. Now I want a commission with Flint.
