It aint just Cyclops
-----

Ye gods...that's just bad.

I'm on vacation from my two jobs currently, and I had no idea that AvX would be that level of train-wreck. I haven't read the mini-series, but "Phoenix X-Men", who I imagine the X-Men fans call "PhoeniX-Men", is an extremely stupid idea, even by modern Marvel "standards."

Ah well, I still have Reprints of Real Marvel, and countless new comic-books from other, smaller, publishers that seem to put out work that is interesting, and not just fan-wank.

Of course! Makes perfect sense for a swimmer to have big draggy things on his shoulders!

Yup, the "Phoenix Five" are (left to right): Namor, Magik, Cyclops, Emma Frost, and Colossus.

…Emma Frost…

••

I think it's time to have Jason Wyngarde come back and join the X-Men. Maybe he can be their youth counsellor.

Oh, don't tempt them.  They might just do it out of spite.

The whole thing looks like it makes about as much sense as a screen door in a submarine.

OK...just so I've got this straight...

Colossus is both the new Juggernaut AND a wielder of the Phoenix Force?

Or had he lost/given up the Juggernaut power?

...so sad...
