Fun, the way I remember my super heroes.

So wish JB had a regular run on the Flash...

••

Others have expressed this wish, over the years, and while I have a great fondness for the character, I must also admit to having only 4 or five running poses!

Which would be rather limiting!

I really think you've come a long way at drawing legs, JB. Especially the thigh. Excellent examples of anatomy.

And an excellent commission. Great idea and wonderful execution.

Jay Garrick is one of those characters that always makes me smile. There's just an element of old-fashioned fun in the character and in that costume. I think he might be my favorite supporting hero in DC comics (meaning a character who's never had his own title during my comics reading lifetime) and I always liked when he showed up in the current Flash's title or anywhere else.

I can recall a few times when he's shown up in commissions and he always looks like he's enjoying using his powers, which is refreshing!

To quote the Mazda ads, "Zoom, zoom!"

Y'know, Marc, Barry fought a guy called "Mazdan" a couple of times... And at least two guys called "Zoom..." Hmm...

And I agree completely with Aaron's statement above. Jay Garrick is just plain comic-book happiness, embodied in one guy. Always brings a smile to my face!
