Wow!!!  This is unique!  The pencil/ink/tone combo is a great idea.

You really nailed this one, JB!!  I loved the pencil tone look of ANGEL: BLOOD AND TRENCHES, and it is really something else to see you do Spider-Man in similar fashion.

I love this! The Spider-Man is amazing (pun?)! There needs to be a follow up commission to see where the trouble is and who is responsible! One of your best yet, JB!

I see William has added one of the more unique commission thread responses!

JB, I thought you signed these first? In case something would happen.

I agree with William Rossell!  Except the part about the Holiday Inn - that's a complete lie.

What's startlingly sad about it is that a mercenary would have to make that post today stating tables instead of table to stay out of how the United States Federal Government could be overspending his provisions if he missed it and that were it. The previous comment I'm referring to I mean.

Normally I sign the pieces before I start inking. The process of "building" this one, tho, was all about layering pencils and tones and then black ink -- so basically, there were steps that are not usually in there. Threw me off!

Oops! Got so hung up on the tones, forgot to sign it. Forgot the copyright notice, too! Thanks for the catch, Joe!

Ha!  Glad I could help!  I think it's my usual pattern to sort of take in a commission as a whole and then my eyes start looking to see how you play with the borders and look for the signature.

Really nice, JB. I always liked it when Peter's spider-sense would start tingling and you get that half Spider-Man, half Peter Parker look.
