I just want to say, welcome back to super heroes, Chief. Now I'm off to buy my copy and hunt down the alt cover.

Thanks Eric! I am having a hoot and a half with this book.

But -- a quick request for this thread: let's keep this strictly about TRIO Number One. There is already a "general discussion" thread for this title. So, folk, wait until you have read the first issue before you comment here!

Thanks!

(That also means I really, really, really don't want to see this turn into a string of Looking-Forward-to-Reading-It or My-Shop-Didn't-Get-It or I-Couldn't-Find-It posts. Comment ONLY if you have READ the book!! Thanks again!)

Nice introduction to the team! "One," "Two," and "Three": Heh, cute code-names that fits the whole "Rock, Paper, Scissors" motif.

Interesting to see such a diverse team, too! I think this is the first comics team with no caucasian member.

Just finished!

Loved it! It's fantastic having you doing a pure superhero comic again, it's like putting on a pair of comfortable jeans....it just feels right!

But one thing, JB you bastard! 46 by the end of issue one! come on!

The artwork inside is pure gold. Classic Byrne inking feels like home.

As much as I enjoyed meeting the characters and their stage, I am also very impressed with the actual package. Great paper stock, I love the inspired idea of variant covers inked by past partners, and (something I very rarely take note of but this time I was paying attention) the colouring!
Plus the BAH, HEMBECK! was great stuff.

JB,   Did you invite Fred's particpation?

Congrats Chief! You are the best!
