Well, and it gets worse: I was reading a newspaper online and saw THIS. (I know, it is in Portuguese, but google translator can take care of that"
Grant Morrison saying that "Batman is very, very gay".
That makes me sad, my son is only 2 years old and he will not have the same opportunity to experience comics the same way I did. I remember that I was anxious for the weekends to go to a street fair and purchase used comic books. That was a great adventure, to go and try to find in piles of old magazines, I felt like looking for gold or treasures. I still have many of those comic books, and one in particular had a story from John Byrne in it, I was amazed by the art and style, and every saturday I would go and try to find comic books and stories signed by that great artist John Byrne, I would get some paper and try to copy the drawings. So much fun. I feel sorry for my son. He will not have that. Now all he has is Internet, Xbox, Kinect, etc. Hard to expect that he will be interested in my comic book collection... so much for more than 5000 comic books stored in my cabinets...

I would like to see the Big 2 each put creators like JB and Tom DeFalco in charge of a separate line of true all ages books that don't talk down to the readers and are set in their own continuity.

"Batman is very, very gay"

Clearly, I'm missing something about being gay in my own life, then.

"All Ages" is the only kind of line there should be for Batman,
Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest.

It's no use trying to protect your secret identity at this point, Tom - we all know you're the Canine Crusader, Protector of Pooches and Defender of Dogs.

And somewhere in the hinterland, Roy Thomas' head just exploded.

He could be. But in my experience, Morrison's jokes often come at our expense.
