The webbing on Spidey's costume is really good (I always wondered how long it takes to draw a whole comic book of that costume and all those webs!) and I like the night time details. I also like the fair amount of story / action that we can track just from this one image! SS appears to have already battled/chased Spidey from the other side of the Baxter Building (maybe out a window of FF HQ?) Spidey is getting some adhesion with his web fluid on SS's fist but SS has fried his webline so Spidey had better be careful because it's a long way down (or is it up!)

Both figures are excellent. The perspective is so interesting and well done. JB's nighttime city backgrounds are always astounding. I love how Super-Skrull spirals up and out of the borders of the piece. Yeah, you could say I like this one!

(My own pet scenario is that Spidey caught the Super-Skrull snooping around a deserted Baxter Building and thought to himself, "Oh jeez, the Super-Skrull??? Oh well, guess this is a job for your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! The Torch is gonna owe me big time for this one...")

Fabulous piece. It took me a minute to realize the characters are upside down!

You've really hit the sweet spot in terms of achieving a vertiginous sense of 'WHOAAAA!
Another one of your pieces that perfectly capture that certain magic that always made me want to buy Marvel back in the day. Fun, exciting, atmospheric, full of action.

Great piece. Super Skrull is one of my favorite Marvel villains. I truly envy the recipient!

You've really hit the sweet spot in terms of achieving a vertiginous sense of 'WHOAAAA!•• One of my better days when shortly after returning to a regular Spider-Title, it occurred to me that the sense of him flinging himself thru the air could be greatly increased if I kept him right-side-up but inverted the backgrounds.
