Robert and Chad, I love that image of Simonson's Hulk. While the
styles different, it reminds me of this one Weeks did. Also, for those of
you not familiar with Lee Weeks version, check it out.

In order...

1) Sal Buscema - that's "my" Hulk. Such a great run.

2) JB - MTU. That Hulk Annual with Angel and Iceman. The short, short run on Incredible -- oh, what could have been....

3) Dale Keown - his "merged" Hulk was pretty nice, but his "Mean Green" was just awesome.

4) Herb Trimpe - Sal was the current artist on the Hulk when I started reading. When I started finding back issues (and reprints), the vast majority was Trimpe art. Lots of fun.

5) Kirby - because he was King.

This list is all opinions of course.

That being said, if Sal Buscema was not on your list, your list is wrong!  =0)

Kirby, Ditko, JB... and how about Marie Severin and Jim Starlin?

Sal Buscema in #1

Then, in no particular order, Kirby, JB, John Buscema, Keown and Gary Frank.

OK, I shall prepare myself to duck and cover...

I'm not such a great fan of Sal Buscema's Hulk. I never especially cared for how he depicted the Hulk's face.

Sal's Hulk was all over the place during ym childhood in the 70's. That was the Hulk I knew over all others. Iconic, to be true. The power and beauty of this portrayal varied from inker to inker, as is often the case.

Kirby, Ditko, Trimpe, Buscema, Byrne

The first Hulk I recall seeing was Gil Kane's in an issue of Smash magazine.
