Really nice rendering, though.

So, were Sal and Ditko the only pencillers for the series?

Same inkers for their respective runs?

I'd never seen that JB sketch before. Coolness.

I have maybe 2 actual ROM issues. I've got that Hulk where he appears and a few other appearances outside his own book and it seems I enjoyed them more than his title book. Should I search out the entire series? I do love me some Sal. Is it hard to find the back issues?

Always a nice resource for getting acquainted with a title.  Rom #24 was always a bitter-sweet issue for me.  It was pretty much the last appearance of the man called Nova until years later in the New Warriors.

At least I got a little closure with the issue though as Nova #25 and FF 205(?) left things hanging as to what happened to Nova.

To add to Dave's posts:

One of the main factors that kept me buying ROM right up until the end (#75) were the surprising number of rock-solid inkers during Ditko's run, to help keep things interesting, including:

Tom Palmer, Jackson Guice, Akin & Garvey, Brett Breeding, P. Craig Russell, Steve Leialoha, Kim DeMulder, Bob Layton, Joe Sinnott, and some fella named John Byrne (pronounced By-ron, I believe)...

A friend sent me this after seeing this thread online...

"Here's why I hate Ditko's ROM:

Take away the dialog and you have no idea what is happening"
