I checked my e-mails from Diamond Comics again this morning, and i still haven't received any notice of the variant being cancelled. Is this only happening to online shops?

Beginning to look like that bulletin to retailers might be a fake, posted on line to make trouble. This is what DIamond has to say:

"Not quite sure where this info would be coming from, but so far everything looks okay over here.  We have 319 orders in the system for the incv, so the code's functionally alive and well.  When I search this incv on the retailer site, the listing looks fine too".

Odd.  I've sent a note back to my on-line store for additional information.

JB (and Chris), Thanks for the info.

It's my sense that the JBF gets an uptick in troll activity around the time of each new book release - there's a few people who are gunning for JB books to fail so they try to stir up trouble.

If this is some kind of prank, then maybe these guys are upset that NEXT MEN is so well received and they want to ensure TRIO gets negative press.  I'm glad it's being revealed to be a hoax and is backfiring on them.

Those covers look excellent!  You can see how the title logo really pops in the picture above.

That variant cover is a total eye-catcher.

We can safely say this is the best series of covers JB has EVER produced!

I hope you don't mind me reposting this but, it's so damn cool....

JB::"Here's a little something in which I thought some of you might find interesting: the B cover for issue 2, with my pencils on the LEFT, and Tom's inks on the RIGHT."

I received the same email from DCBS. They must have gotten bad info on TRIO. I had a feeling when they offered a variant on Next Men that there wouldn't be one when JB showed the cover to the final issue. But I was a bit worried when the email mentioned the TRIO variant. Glad to know all is well.

Both Joe Sinnott's and Tom Palmer's inks are pitch perfect!!! Inking in their own unique styles, while still letting your brilliance shine through... no wonder you picked them!
