Superman and Spider-Man, X-Men and Teen Titans, Batman and Hulk, JLA and Avengers, etc etc etc -- they don't take place in the same "unverse" either

JB, is the absence of swastikas in the new cover due to editorial restrictions?

Got my preview copies of the first issue today. I'd asked for non-shiny stock on the interior pages, to make it look more like a real (to me, anyway) comicbook. Got what I asked for, and it looks great. The colors really pop, and I don't have to angle the pages trying to avoid glare. Something unexpected, tho. IDW now has all their books "self-covered", meaning the covers are the same stock as the interior pages. So the covers on the first issue of TRIO are also on non-shiny stock. I am VERY curious to see what the reaction to that will be in the marketplace!

Uncoated stock with matching cover? Cool! As a print-production nerd, now I have another reason to be excited to see this book!

I'm really excited about having another ongoing monthly superhero comic to buy. TRIO makes three!

This sounds like it'll be a fun read. Have to be sure to pre-order at Midtown.
