WOW! Thank you, JB.  I am beyond words right now.  You exceeded my expectations. I just can't believe it. This is a marvelous piece.  I cannot thank you enough. I love everything about this piece. Adding the fly over just brilliant and something I did not expect (Yes, it does look like the Skyrocket that Blackhawk is stepping out of). You captured everything PERFECTLY.
This is one of those times that I am happy and proud to be a comic book reader and fan.  Like I said JB, I cannot thank you enough and words just can't capture how I feel right now. Thanks goes out to Jim for helping me set this up with JB.

I'm really impressed by the folds of the jacket. Was that all straight from the top of your head?

Is the topic name a play on Queen's FLASH GORDON theme? If so it took me several confused hours to figure it out!

"Hawk-aaa!" was the Blackhawks' battle cry.

Looking over the "Song of the Blackhawks" by Richard French -- a relative, perhaps? -- I immediately went to the piano and played it.  (It doesn't take a musical genius to figure out the chord progression.)

Let me record it and post a you-tube link here in a bit.  Good fun!

Great looking commission! Congrats Steve.

BTW this goes in the same category as Race Bannon, cartoon/comic book hottie.
