I also thought Captain Britain was stronger.

That was the old Captain Britain. He became more powerful after the costume change.

Not a big fan of those illustrations at all, btw. For instance, Colossus is not only not a "super mediumweight" he is also considerably taller than pictured (hence the name "Colossus"). As is She-Hulk. Actually the scale of the figures is pretty crap all around (note Sasquatch's squashed look).

And Flavio, looks like you need to buy more Marvel comics!
++++

LOL! From that time-frame, I just might.

It's the Layton Vaseline look that gets to me. And I could always spot his Iron Man from that little tiny "ping" of a gleam he gave his armor... anybody's armor, really... even Doctor Doom's!

I would place Colossus, Valkyrie and She-Hulk in the Heavyweights
tier.

Colossus being 2 steps down from Iron Man is a laugh, too.

The thing I can't get past with Layton is his figures always look stiff as a board. There's no fluidity in the way he portrays the human body at all.

Layton is one of my favorite artists, but that is not his best work.

This is from the Amazing Spider-Man Annual that introduced the new Captain Marvel about 30 years ago?

I always liked Mark's artwork.

As far as Mark's rankings, I still believe this is pretty fair after all this time.
