It's hard to go cross-company with comparisons, especially when the power levels of the characters have changed so much over time. I think Captain Marvel should be DC's strongest superhero, but the popular opinion gives that title to Superman. Fine. However, in a meeting between the Man of Steel and the incredible Hulk, the jade giant should have the upper hand when it comes to pure strength. After all, he "is the strongest one there is" in the Marvel Universe and since he is all about physical strength and power, JB's specialist rule should apply.

You know, I can kinda understand putting Superman above the Hulk if you're a DC fan (or if you refuse to understand that moving a planet involves far more than just strength) but Thor above the Hulk? Its been understood for years that Thor is more powerful yet the Hulk is stronger, hasn't it?

He should be just shy of the Prince of Power in strength. (Let the angry responses begin.)

HATE Superman moving planets! Even as a kid I thought that and time travel were just too much (don't get me started on super- ventriloquism or super-hypnotism.).
I remember a scene in LEGION (80s, Pre-Crisis) where Supergirl pushed against a planet and bore into it rather than moving it. It included a bit of dialogue from Brainiac 5 saying something about the upper limits of Kryptonian (and, I'm assuming, Daxamite) strength never having been adequately measured.

LOL I put him on the list because I saw your sigh and was worried you weren't feeling any love for Galactus. :0)
Oh and guess who Chuck is rooting for against the Broncos? Hell froze over and Chuck is rooting for the Pats.

I agree with you, Wallace, about Thor and Hercules. Used to be that way, too, in the original OHOTMU.

Realize when I made my comments about Hulk/Superman, I came to hate pre-JB Superman for just that reason. I found his power level insane and unrealistic. I was happy when they made him more "realistic". But I prefered Hulk; still do.
So while I choose Hulk over Superman as a character, I have to admit that the most powerful version of Superman is too unrealistic for any version of the Hulk to match his strength. Truth is, it's comparing apples to oranges. They may be both fruits/comic characters, but they don't taste the same/don't play by the same rules.
