Ah, the Implications Game... Otherwise known as deriving results never intended by the original authors based on hyperbole and sketchy data so as to acheive "inarguable" solutions to arguments that should never have arisen in the first place... So, since Captain Marvel has the "strength of Hercules," while Wonder Woman is "Mightier than Hercules," Wonder Woman MUST be able to clean Captain Marvel's clock easily. "IT SAYS SO RIGHT HERE!" Except as E. Nelson Bridwell once pointed out, Captain Marvel also has the Power of Zues in amongst his other attributes, so the Stamina of Atlas that he possesses is backed up with the power levels of the Olympian Sky-Father, as is the Speed of Mercury, and the Strength of Hercules... So who actually wins? "Well, if he uses that Power of Zues thing, then Captain Marvel is cheating..." Wonder Woman fans would argue... And hey, as we all know, the Silver Age Superman is the Most Powerful Fictional Character EVER EVER EVER, and he only just barely fought Hercules to a standstill every time they met, so Wonder Woman, "Mightier than Hercules," remember, MUST be Mightier than Someone Who Can Only Fight Hercules to a Standstill... So, Wonder Woman vs. Superman? Easy. Cakewalk. Wonder Woman takes him down in her sleep. Plus, she's magic. EVERYBODY KNOWS Superman has NO defense against magic...! You know who also had every one of Wonder Woman's attributes, lacking only her maturity and keen judgement? Wonder Tot. Seriously, Wonder Woman was gifted with her abilities from birth. Wonder Tot could do everything Wonder Woman could do, only being a little more headstrong and lacking in coordination... So, you know who can beat damn near everybody? Wonder Tot. Ah, the beauty of the Implications Game...
