Yeah, corrected. Felt bad about being as snarky as that.

I don't see a reason for an "After Byrne" credit.

I agree. There a definite inspiration, but I wouldn't call it an homage or copy.

If any villain holds up any hero with one arm, there's only so many ways you can draw that, you know? I'd vote for "inspired by," if even.

Yeah...at most "inspired by" and we don't even know if that was the case. Definitely no "After Byrne" credit needed.

(And since when did DC decide to cross OMAC with Dory from FINDING NEMO...?)

Questions for those saying JB's work is a "definite inspiration" for the OMAC cover -- what makes you so sure?
Isn't the victorious super-being lifting his vanquished foe over his head kind of a fundamental gesture?
JB didn't invent that pose -- and besides that pose, there are no details that link the OMAC cover to JB's. Different framing; different gesture in the victor, different eyelines, different pose for the defeated body, no background -- what makes the link to JB so definite to some out there?

Well now. This is interesting...
BTW, what's with this "Frankenstein" business?

He's the Star of Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. which is crossing over O.M.A.C. this month. He's the leader of a team of a modern day Creature Commandos.

Before scrolling down to the JB covers, my first thought was of them. Definitely "inspired by" IMO.

Well, I think Keith Giffen might have other inspirations. Assuming he designed the cover(s)
