In another thread, someone said Ed Hannigan designed the X-Men cover. Is there a story behind that?

I was going to say I think Tarantulas can jump hella high so the first cover is better, but it seems they can't.

A few years back I was getting back into collecting comics and was poking around the internet.  I didn't know artists did commissions, this is the first sight I came to btw, but it wouldn't let me join because of my email address.  Anyway, I was always a fan of Layton's work so I was looking at his gallery.  In a comment he said that the two most requested covers for him are the "Demon in a Bottle" and X-Men 141.  He said he doesn't do 141 anymore, but was very complementary to JB regarding it.  He said it is brilliant, which it is.
