Agapito: Yeah, there was one in Teen Titans Go! with the same cool theme as Trio:

http://teentitans.wikia.com/wiki/Rock,_Paper,_Scissors

---

Hm. Never heard of that team... but I don't read that TTG comic.

You'd think the "rock guy" (girl?) would have been made of rock!

I'd LOVE to see a classic pin-up page (or two) in the pages of TRIO!

Well Nathan, she sort of is...

Thing is, these characters are teen villains, not heroes (and they get defeated rather quickly too).

No disrespect to the creators of these characters, but I like JB's better.

(Edit - Todd Nauck was not the artist)

That's the first I've seen of the Rock, Paper, Scissors characters above. I'm disappointed to learn my "brilliant idea" was not so original as I thought, but it's not the end of the world. My characters are very different -- and also don't actually call THEMSELVES "Rock, Paper, Scissors".

When I thought of the names, I did a Google search, assuming someone would have come up with the idea before, but nothing turned up. Perhaps I should have turned a few more pages.

Matters not, really. As I have said many times, it's less about where the journey begins, than it is about where it takes us.

JB, with regards to copyright protection of your characters that are published through IDW, does IDW handle the actual paperwork aspect of that, or do you?

The reason I ask is that if you had named them "R-P-S", wouldn't someone at IDW have raised a red-flag about it earlier?

There's no red flag to raise. (And Chris Ryall new the names of the characters before I ever set pencil to paper.)

Looks like you're determined to keep my comic collecting going. It's been years since I bought a comic by another artist... Next Men kept me going and now this one looks VERY promising, let's hope for a loooong run!

JB, looking at the cover closely, is that paper covering rock they're
busting through?
