Xmen First Class.  Throw as much shit as you possibly can.  Something has to stick.

I watched First Class on a plane and found it enjoyable. I don't like the line up but thought Fassbender and Mcavoy were really good in thier roles.

It's not X-Men, it's a facsimile at best but there is some good acting and some good humour. And some really good scenes.

And the best Magneto helmet in a movie yet.

But it's not the X-Men

Hahahahaha!  My attitude probably stems from lessons learnt...the DD movie for example made a complete mockery of the comic books...i cant watch the scene with "Elektra" and Matt in the playground fighting without cringeing....and X-men 3: the last stand...was well....shit..as was FF 2: rise of the silver surfer...

And its sometimes the same with any kind of adaptation....you go in with one view / one vision of the final product and its something else....

I'd love to see what a great film maker would do with Next Men...!  I vote Zack Snyder..loved his work on Watchmen!

My reason for choosing Snyder was his relatively faithful adaptations of Watchmen and 300....both pretty entertaining, visually appealing but also respectful to the source material.
