I love this pose. Real bad-ass look for the Canary.

Wow. Time machine. This piece takes me straight back to my favourite early dc comics from my childhood with Canary and Arrow. And she looked just like this, only not as good. Impressed with your grasp of foreshortening JB, just getting the legs looking right in that position would look terrible if I attempted it. Even with reference.

Wow---two cool "non-commissions"! Really appreciate it. Both this and the X-Men are awesome. JB truly makes these single character images special--you can really get a sense of her effort and intensity in a fight from this single image.

Tying in with the 'women's drawers' thread (in more ways than one, I suppose), here we have evidence of why JB features so prominently on that list -- the legs here are fantastically rendered. A real economy of line, but the anatomy is perfectly conveyed to the viewer.

Um, I like fishnets, but only on girls. Just clarifying.

This character and Zatanna were both "gutted" by being "improved" by later "designers" who took away the fishnets and turned them into interchangeable, forgetable, "generic" characters.
