The net looks very cool; a bunch is thick squiggly lines. No it's netting.

••

That's how Ditko did the netting on the cover of the issue with Kraven's first appearance, and I figgered, who am I to argue with the Master?

Oh, sure, now that I'm done with all of my vacation time and have a little more time through the end of the year to keep the Gallery updated. I guess I'll just have to spend my time searching the 'net for some more of those old ’70s and '80s convention sketches to add to the Gallery.

••

Believe me, Dan, I'd be happy to keep supplying you with commission pieces for the Gallery, but the List hath dried up!

Guess I'll have to spend the rest of the year at my day job!

altho the character would seem to have Tim Curry written all over him
++++
My intro to Tim Curry was Ridley Scott's Legend, so Curry is a name I easily associate with creepy-scary!
An awesome little gallery there!!

Kraven is a favorite, but that Ringmaster is just perfect!  The pose, the expression, the outfit....  just perfect.

First off, Paul, congratulations on these incredible commissions!

How are you displaying them?

Second,

JB::And this, it would seem, brings us to the end of the Commissions List for 2011!

Hopefully not......

Really nice, JB. Always like the way you can do facial hair.

Congrats, Paul.

That Kraven drawing is really something special!

JB, are you aware of Steve Ditko ever commenting on any of your Spider-
Man work? If so, what did he say?

I was told many years ago that he liked my Spider-Man, tho, unfortunately, I did not get this direct from Ditko.

Looking back, I believe nine mini Spider-Foes were completed in 2011.  If we get nine more in 2012 that should take us up to just about the end of the Ditko villains depending on how Paul and JB handle the Circus of Crime and some other minor villains.  This series is the best ever!

Now I want to see someone commission reimaginings of all the Ditko covers!

I had to double check this, to be sure. I was surprised to see the gap -- almost half a year! -- between the Living Brain and Electro!
