Originally I had drawn that scene with Clint just standing on the ground, firing at multiple targets. Then something kicked in, in the back of my brain, and I thought "No! I am back at Marvel now! This has to be WILD!"

And with that thought came the realization that, in my time at DC, quite unconsciously, I had been struck with whatever it was that seemed to compel DC writers and artists to tone thing down.

GAH!!!

Wish I had a better scan of this...from my favorite Roger Stern Avengers storyline (Avengers vs. the Greek Gods...just got the trade collection from Amazon last week!)

2 of the coolest Spider-Man poses I've ever seen.




Kind of a shame they were used on the clone (I do like the costume, though).
