"Ultron we would have words with thee!"--Loved it.
I would add in the Legion GREAT DARKNESS saga, where the planet Daxam turned to reveal the villain behind everything was "Darkseid".
(There are just so many)
The you can also say the entire battle scene on the moon in Death of Phoenix from Colossus' defeat in battle against Gladiator to off-panel defeat of Cyclops to the Watcher's summary.
Exiles when Thunderbird beat the Hulk and when he hurt Galactus a couple issues latter.

LSH # 294 - Superboy and Supergirl knocking Darkseid for a loop…•• Hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it! Darkseid is one of Kirby's greatest creations. What was achieved by turning him into a punching bag? Feh!!

The best knockout punch of all time, INCREDIBLE HULK 314.•• With the wisdom of hindsight, I wish I had done it without a sound effect, tho. As Stan so aptly put it, "The wise man knoweth when to speak, and when to shuteth up!"

Those first two panels, the FF one and the Hulk one, that I mentioned in the post that started this thread, were from issues that I read at almost the same time. They both contain the same thing: one person striking another. But both were so different, with such different reasons behind the blow, such different emotions involved, yet both such powerful images. I think those were the two panels that made me, as an 8-year-old kid, fall in love with the comics medium and realize just how powerful it could be.

I see where the Hulk panel gets a different feel to it, sans the POW! But man, if ever a punch ever deserved a POW! added to it.

I think that panels, with exception of course, that don't have sound effects for a massive punch or explosion just feel "off" like they're "silent". To me personally, like watching an explosion on TV on mute or something.
