This is the entrance to the festival.

And off to the right, is a coffee shop / snack bar...  With the alien monster Zetton, who nearly killed Ultraman in the series finale, welcoming attendees.

My Ulfes admission ticket, graced with the image of the pearl-eating monster, Gammakujira.

The map to the interior of the festival, flanked by a statue of Ultraman himself.

Okay, I'll stop it here for now.

Uh, forgot one...

Ultra-Father and Ultra-Mother are being used for the restroom symbols...

Okay, now over to you, Martin. ;)

Yeah, I kinda figured work was keeping him really busy post-Tour (things were quite insane for me as well, even after getting over jet-lag).

Just thought that the JBF members here would like to wash that "Nu52" distaste out of their mouths and be reassured that some classic superheroes are being treated with the love and respect they deserve.

It was very little from inside the Thomas Edison and I'm not going to say too much but a lot of vending machine pictures so at least we know what their vending machines look like. I want to see more from the Edison section thanks.

Sorry, but didn't have the time to visit that section of the Museum, since I was more interested in the Gundam and tokusatsu-related displays.  Perhaps Martin has some photos to share.

There are a few photos of the Thomas Edison exhibit in these recent blog entries:

And Martin's posted more of his Bandai Museum photos here (really clear photos!):

Well, this thread has been on hiatus for several months...

Time to play catch up with last August's G-Tour 2, and the visit to Ultraman Festival 2011!

Will continue with the coverage tomorrow.

Edit - Okay, didn't notice that I had posted the same picture from the previous page of this thread, so deleted it out.

Okay, since I ready explained what the Ultraman Festival is in detail on the previous thread page, no need to repeat that again.  ;)

August 5th 2011

Just inside the entrance (past the festival souvenir program booth) there was a hall of Ultra-heroes, past and present:

The most recent additions to the pantheon (from the left to right):

Mirror Knight, Jean-Bot, Ultimate Ultraman Zero, and Glenfire

(Apologies in advance if these are not correct or misspelled)

Opposite the above, were the Ultra-Heroes of the past:
