Mike: the fact that you knew exactly where to put Doom when the customer
asked for him fighting alongside Venom are among the things that make
you The Man.

…really looking forward to seeing the higher resolution for that part…

••

Me, too! I sent the scan to Dan before I posted the image here, and I see he's even posted on the board since then, so he's been on his computer.

I wonder if my message to him got lost in cyberspace?

We need a code for Dan's work (I have no idea what Dan does for a profession).  I'm imagining something like this, his boss comes into his office and says, "Uh, Dan...someone on the phone says there's a uh... walrus in your garden....?"  That would be the signal for Dan that there was an emergency high rez scan he needs to post for us!

Not actually what the request says.

Sorry for the delay in getting the full size image posted.

There's a technical reason why I couldn't post it, but that
reason is privileged and confidential.

Anyways, the full size scan is now available in Crossovers
section of the Gallery.

I like these crossovers!  Looks great, love the image contrasts and the nonchalance of Doom.

I really like the new policy of posting the commission request along with the finished work.  It's fascinating to see how the original idea is realized.

I've never seen JB do Venom before. Very cool take! Did JB ever do a Venom issue while he was doing Spider-Man?

Wow!  Fantastic, JB!  I love how Invisible Woman is being "revealed".

Look at how Doom is enjoying it all -- what a prick!

Yep!  There's at least one Spider-Man comic by JB with Venom in it and he even turned up in one of Clint's Marvel Monster commissions!

Great looking commission. Really love the crossovers. Dr. Doom looks amazing. Love the pose. Even sitting the man radiates presence.
