Emery, I don't think they are responding to that as a shot at Wallace. I think they are admonishing him for using the word "retarded", which a lot of people find offensive. Especially those who know or have family members with developmental issues.

I think some of you might have gotten the idea that Tony Midyett was taking a nasty shot at Wallace but I don't think that was his intent.

Who thought that? I certainly didn't. I was (jokingly) scolding Tony for his use of "bad words" in the post. And rereading the posts following his, I don't find that anyone else thought he was taking a shot at me either.
