When did Two-Face become the Hulk? ***
Maybe they're thinking in a bold, progressive new way! Two-Face gets addicted to Venom and becomes Hulk-size. He'll have to steal the giant penny from the Batcave though to keep things to scale.
Riddler can go legit again and become Gotham's new hotshot DA.
Joker can revert to his Grant Morrison induced Oberon Sexton identity and lead the new Outsiders, solving mysteries and breaking hearts!
Bane has a chemical reaction and can only use Venom when the temperature is under 32 degrees.
Etc, and so forth.
The artwork you posted is like an inkfart... this whole DC situation has gone absurd. More absurd than usual.

What little thought I'd put into dipping a toe into these new DC waters has completely gone by the wayside with these Superman revelations. Crap crap crap and more crap, with a soupcon of garbage on the side.

That would be nice, but, no, I would have to pay for such advertisements. The publishers do have co-opt programs where they will help pay the costs for specific kinds of ads using their characters, though. This is usually for TV or print ads.

At this point it becomes crystal clear that DC is trying to repeat Marvel's success with the Ultimate line. And DC will likely find the more they do things wrong, the more the fans will reward them. Marvel will find it hard to top DC, because they've already exhausted their Ultimates line and have performed the same stunt with their main books. But Marvel will have no choice but to top DC; they wouldn't know how to go back to doing "straight" superhero stories even if they wanted to.
Meanwhile, superhero comic books become even more alien and meaningless to the everyday reader, the potential young fan. When will this madness stop?

Sometime next summer or autumn, DC's going to set up a phone-and-internet voting system for people to decide what versions of characters people want to see continue in the books. And the 'real' new DCnU will come about after this in 2013, which will (drum-roll!) be the year of Superman's 75th birthday. I don't know why I feel confident about this prediction. Oh, right -- the reboot seems sudden and not-thought-out, and an American Idol-style vote would work perfectly for publicity (and yes, I know that it's really a Death of Robin vote on steroids). Agree? Disagree? Think I'm crazy? Cheers, Jon
