I really started reading X-Men with issue #114, which really was the start of me buying Marvel comics again.
I had read earlier X-Men, right around #40, but had been unimpressed. I had even picked up the Thomas/Adams issues off the rack; but even tho I loved Adams art, they didn't involve me enough to seek out more.
So my team is: Cyclops Colossus Nightcrawler Wolverine Storm Banshee Phoenix Beast Professor X

When they guest-star in "Amazing Spider-Man", the original team. And their line-up from "Secret Wars".

First X-Men I read was in Stan Lee's "Son of Origin of Marvel Comics", so that would be X-Men #1.

X-Men 1 reprinted in the UK during the mid 1970's (Probably somewhere around '75) Strange to think that a couple of years later, the USA would be getting the All New X-Men.

The first time I saw the X-Men was in that issue of the Fantastic Four, the one where they go against the Puppet Master. So my X-Men are the original line-up of the X-Men.

Excuse the tangent, but JB can you say why Kirby drew the cover with Cyclops' visor obscured by his eye beam?
