Just read the issue. The most amazing thing about this story is the sense that absolutely anything could happen. I can't remember a comic series before this where I had absolutely no idea - not even a guess - where the ending would take me. Loved it!

I can't wrap my head around the fact that there are only four more issues
left. I can't see how the story can wrap up in that time frame. (Which is
meant as a compliment).

Seriously, I just sat down and read all the issues in a row (Yeah, I am way behind on my reading!) and I was amazed at how well it all flowed.  I'm looking forward to the next four issues, but at the same time I am not looking forward to it endnig.

I feel the same way Kevin.  I want to read them so bad but don't at the same time.  At least I know there is something else coming after it is done at least.

I think I know (same theory I've had since before the relaunch started). Won't speculate of course...but VERY interested to 1) see if I'm right and 2) see how we get there!

(Of course, the way things are going, Nathan's comeback will be: "Yeah, well, I'm BLIND, so cry me a river.")

I'm thinking ( hoping) he won't be blind by that time.

I've about given up on my original theory of the last line that I came to years ago when I first heard what it was to be. I'll be totally surprised if I turn out to be right.

Now, of course, I have a newer theory and I wanna see if THAT one is right.

So torn! I don't want this to end - it is my favorite comic book story ever. Made more perfect by the fact that it picks up right where it left off as if there was no break at all - just great...

But having said that... I do prefer finite stories. Even in comics, which have been, in the American Super-Hero genre, an on-going serialized fiction.

So... I look forward to it ending... but I wish it didn't.

The fact that Aftermath is coming afterwards keeps me from being too upset over the impending end of Next Men. We'll still get our fix of the Next Men universe...

I've had a theory about that for years, ever since I first heard about that line. I can't wait to see if I'm right.

I'm glad those of us who have theories about the "Nathan, I'm cold." quote
are keeping them to ourselves.
