Back to the Next Men, JB, are you close to working on the last issue?

Good question. Also, will we get to see the cover of JBNM 39, the last - gasp - issue ? Honestly, I'd rather not to in case it reveals too much.

John, could you do like the big 2 do sometimes and ask IDW (or is it Diamond's Previews?) to 'blacken' or 'censor' (in a big way) the cover of JBNM 39 when it comes to solicitations? I know that with the internet it's sort of nigh to impossible but I'd love to discover the cover with my own eyes when I actually buy it.

If the cover is as ambiguous as JBNM 30 then I'd love to scratch my head and try to guess what the finale will be about!

I'm still hoping we get the JBNM Omnibus after the main series is over.  Can you imagine having it all in one big beautiful hardcover that you can read from cover to cover?

Well I hope the new NEXT MEN will be available in oversized HC format because I am unable to purchase the individual issues. Being overseas where there are no comic books means that I get my fill by visiting home and buying a bunch of HC's.

I hate missing out on the continuation of one of my all time favorite comic book stories, but patience is a virtue, right?

I'd like that, too, but a single volume may be too chunky.

A good comparison would be the Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus.  It clocks in at 1088 pages.  A Next Men Omnibus with issues 0-39 and 2112 is going to be close (probably with at least 50 more pages).  If you have or can find access to the Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus in a bookstore, you can get a sense of how chunky it would be.

I thought the same! I really liked that cover -- it didn't give away the "ending" of the original series. I am really excited to see what JB does with cover #39.
