I wouldn't dream of posting it, Wallace. And also, I can't decide if I want to be right or wrong, if that makes any sense.

I didn't think you would, Aaron. I believe the idea I have is the right one, but
JB is so good at what he does that whether I've guessed right or not, I know
I'll enjoy the outcome.

I agree with you, Wallace, but I wish there were a place we could put our guesses in a sealed envelope to be looked at after the REVEAL.

Then we'd see who was really right and who just said they were right.

Does anyone have another site they have been discussing this on?

Yeah, Tom. That way we can't all claim we knew it all along.

People should just be honest. If you guess correctly... great. There's no contest going on here. No reason to lie.

Part of the JBNM fun is guessing where the book is going -- but I'm always thrilled to be WRONG! And I'm wrong most of the time.

I'm going a limb with my guess. Wonder if it will the one.

Really love the flow of this series. Can't believe only 4 issues are left.

I'm usually wrong, but...

A few months before it happened, I guessed Beth was the "villain" behind our current time travel arc. I made a list of all of the characters (that have ever appeared in JBNM), and Beth was the only one that could work (in my brain)... but I didn't understand HOW or WHY it would be Beth. Buried alive for over 200 years??? That's wild. Glad I didn't know. It was a fun surprise!

I feel the same is going on with the "Nathan, I'm cold" line -- I can guess who is saying it (and I might be wrong!) ...but I have still can't see how we are getting from here to there.

It's fun to guess at this stuff... and a BIG thanks to everyone for NOT posting their guesses!

I also have my suspicion on who says that sentence. And the current direction kinda goes toward it. For the moment.

This could be fun - how about we pledge to tell the truth and oonce the series is finished we post what our theory is about the line.

Mine purely rests at who and significance with regard to it shows something (But I'm not hinting at what).

Right or wrong I'm prepared to post exactly what I thought. Anyone else?

I don't think it's over analyzing it. A better way to look at is, if Gil and crew are from 2147, and Beth woke up there after being trapped for 238 years, then that means Beth would have been encased in lava in the year 1909. And we know that's not the case.

---

Huh.

I missed the math on that... can't wait to hear how that one is explained!

••

It's called "a typo".
