It's all personal taste but it was JB's art on Superman that drew my attention as an 11 year old. I was fairly new to comics for the most part. Had my dad read some to me when I was younger (he would do the voice of Hulk) but that was the first time I took the incentive to actually seek out a comic book. Byrne's work on Superman looked to me like he did in the movies (Chris Reeve) coloring books (Garcia-Lopez) posters (Neal Adams) Nothing against previous Superman artists but JB's style was more to my liking. Thanks again Mr. Byrne for introducing me to the wonderful world of comics.
