Todd, the books have not been collected. You can pick them up easily. My pitch would be John Byrne telling great stories for long time comic reads and new ones. There is scifi, supernatural, and time travel stories through out the run.

Loved seeing Metamorpho! I wonder how many stories were in JB's brain for this series? I always wonder what would have happened if it had gone on. Enjoyed every issue.

Oh, THAT scene.Well, yes, as noted, that was explained in her "origin". So, do we have here, then, a case of some folk wanting to read more into every scene than the author intends? "I know he SAID the macguffin was green, but you know green is really blue and yellow combined, so. . . "

Last summer, I was able to buy all but two or three issues of the series from my local comics store, Comics & Collectibles in Memphis, and finished up with Mile High Comics, but I haven't pulled them all together to read yet. Since I'm on spring break this week, I should do so.

I also managed to get all of Generations and Blood of the Demon in the same means at about the same time.

I only picked up JB's Doom Patrol sporatically. I think I've read three of the issues. As I'd never read anything elsewhere about the book addressing it's new continuity in-series, I thought that perhaps the longer hair was a way of referencing the shift without specifically mentioning it. I wasn't trying to go out of my way to ignore other explanations the series presented. I simply haven't read most of the other issues. Can someone tell me which issue contains the story of Rita's involvement with the Chief?

I've never been a Doom Patrol fan and I haven't read this series. I'm curious about it though. Anyone want to give me a sales pitch to sell me?
*** Did you like JB's FF. Then you'll like Doom Patrol. Despite all the comparisons between DP and X-Men that people seem to like to bring up, the tone of DP seems much more like that of FF to me and JB does both well.

Brian, I believe the resolution to the hair thing was in #13. (Maybe #14, which is the best issue of the series so you should read it anyway. :-) )
