Oh, BOOM! Studios not IDW. What a shame. Still, BOOM's output is generally high-quality, so there could be some good POTA stories on the way.

From what I've seen of BOOM!, their Apes will be wonderful.Maybe not quite as wonderful as John Byrne's Apes, but still good.John.

I dunno about JB's apes. After all, they ride horses & he ain't too keen on drawing those, as far as I can recall.

I think the difficulty in drawing horses was why the animated series in 1975 decided to give the apes jeeps and lorries! I've now found out that when John's Apes art was seen at a convention it had 'try out art' on its labelling.It was also only �30 (about $50) back in the 90s.You could weep. John.
